Dalton - 1803 Dalton was a English physicist, chemist as well as a meteorologist . His work manly revolved around the atomic theory, as that is what he is best known for. Mendeleev - 1869 Mendeleev was a Russian Chemist who is know and accredited with the creation of the first Periodic Table. His table contained elements that were not even discovered yet. Eugene Goldstein - 1885 Eugene Goldstein was a German physicist. He was one of the first to research the discharge tube. He also invented the anode ray.
