  2. LAB SAFETY RULES You must wear your lab coat and safety glasses all the time.

  3. LAB SAFETY RULES Identify the safety equipment’s and know how to use them (fire extinguisher, eye wash, shower, and the fire exit).

  4. LAB SAFETY RULES Never eat or drink inside the lab. Do not pipette by mouth, use the bulb Keep your belongings and bags away from the work area especially from flame.

LAB SAFETY RULES • Follow the procedure as described to you. • You must read the chemical safety information for each chemical reagent you are using. • Do not taste or sniff chemicals. • Do not dispose chemicals down the sink. • Toxic and volatile chemicals should be handled inside the fume cupboard all the time.
