How is ammer used in the classroom? • Teachers can incorporate Yammer intoactivities • Teachers can create groups for classroom activities • Teachers can communicate with students inside & outside of the classroom

ammer Profile… • Top right of the page • Followers/following • Group activity (posts, links, etc.) • Basic information
Uploading Files Very simple to upload files: Go to selected network and click “upload a file”

The “Pages” Application • Create pages pertaining to a certain group, or common interests. • Like a Facebook “Page Application”
The “Topics” Application • With the topics application you can create a topic, and everyone that is your friend on Yammer can add their own comments to the page. • Have discussions on the page about the topic • Example: High school Spanish teacher makes a page about food, and students converse on Yammer about their favorite foods (using Spanish vocabulary).
