EMERGENCY SYSTEMS Emergency Stairwells Pressurization Outside air fans will turn on and push 70,000 cubic feet per minute of outside air into the stairwells, keeping smoke from entering the stairs to facilitate a safe evacuation via the stairs. Note: Only emergency stairwells should be used to exit your floor in case of an evacuation due to a Fire Alarm (automatically unlock)
EMERGENCY SYSTEMS Smoke Evacuation System Smoke removal fans will turn on and exhaust approximately 100,000 cubic feet per minute of air from the floor of incident

Fire Alarm System Actions Elevators Recall to the lowest floor they serve i.e. Elevators serving the Lobby to 49th Floor will be recalled to Lobby. NOTE: Never try to use elevators during a Fire Alarm

Fire Warden Responsibilities • In case of Fire • Listen to the instructions • Prepare for potential evacuation • Direct the Evacuation • 4 floors down standard but follow instructions • Account for Personnel • Handicapped • Pregnant Women • Visitors • Elderly • Head Count • Inspect Space • Close Office Doors
Fire Warden Responsibilities Make sure all Employees know the following procedures: • If You or your Employees discover a fire: • STAY CALM • Activate the nearest Manual Pull Station • Call 911 • Notify the Management Office • Notify your Fire Warden • If at anytime you feel in danger, evacuate by accessing the Emergency Stairwells
Fire Warden Responsibilities Make sure all Employees know the following procedures: • If you hear the Fire Alarm: • STAY CALM • Stop and hear the instructions from the PA System • If at anytime you feel in danger, evacuate by accessing the Emergency Stairwells • Close door behind you (do not lock them) • If smoke is present stay low • Once outside the Building, stay far away
Fire Warden Responsibilities • In Case of Bomb Threat • Notify the Building Management Office • Call 911 • Notify your Supervisor • Inspect your work area NOTE: The decision whether to evacuate is the responsibility of each company.
Fire Warden Responsibilities • In Case of a Hurricane Upon notice to evacuate, we recommend the following procedures: • Move important or valuable belongings to an interior office • Raise blinds on all windows • Power down all computer equipment and electrical equipment • Close all exterior office doors • Close and lock all entry doors
Fire Warden Responsibilities In case of a Medical Emergency we recommend the following procedures: • Call 911 • Notify the Building Management Office • Stand by elevators to meet and guide paramedics Note: Building Security will meet the paramedics to facilitate access in and out of the Building.
