Monday 8:00-8:30: Student Drop Off Duty – Side door beside kitchen 8:30-9:15: Redstreak Reading Club – 2nd Grade Enrichment- Students are working on the Flat Stanley Language Arts project, which incorporates writing, reading, technology skills, and geography. Students will work at his/her own pace writing letters to one assigned place and the 2-4 places of their choice. All letters will be mapped in and out, in order to focus on the geography! *Update Map Today! 9:15-9:30: Planning 9:30- 10:15: Mrs. Crocker-Animals in Love- Under Educational Links- National Geographic for Kids- Discuss what loves is. How do we see love? Do we see animals sharing love and affection toward each other. Watch the Animals in Love videos on NG for Kids. 10:15-11:10: Planning 11:10-11:55: Mrs. Brust- Geography 50 States- Educational Links- States & Capitals 11:55-12:30: Lunch 12:30-1:15: Ms. Reader-Synonym Word List (Under Educational Projects on my webpage) Have students write a poem on his/her blog using 5-10 synonyms from the given list. 1:15-2:00: Miss Irvine- What is love worksheet- Have students fill in the blanks on this worksheet then type it using Microsoft Word, change the font color to pink or purple, and print in 146. 2:00-2:30-K+Kids: Independent reading on his/her level. Kids should bring an AR book in with them. They may take AR test if they are ready… they will need help logging in.
