  5. STRENGTHS OF FUTURE TV ... • Merging of the web with TV • TV will be used for many different options • More interactive television with greater opportunities for advertising ( IDTV )

  6. ... AND WEAKNESSES • Easier for hackers to access users' information • Risks of sharing information over TV • High production costs • Piracy

  7. WILL EVOLUTION OF TV BENEFIT OR HURT SOCIETY? • Easier sharing of files • More personalized content • User friendly TV experience • TV direclty connected to Internet • Easier access to personal information for hackers

  8. TV CONTENT IN 2020 • Reality TV • Less and shorter news which would eliminate other medias. • Premium content avaiable on the web • On-demand shows • More targeted advertising

  9. WILL TV CHANGE FAMILY OR SOCIETY AS A WHOLE? • Gap between real life interaction VS virtual communication • Obesity for children • TV characters as role models for children • Possible increase of violence and risky behaviors
