Life Cycle Of A Plant The 4 main stages of a plants life cycle are: • Germination-the process in which a plant begins to sprout from it’s seed • Growth-the process of developing from a seedling to a mature plant • Fertilization- process in which flowers receive pollen to produce seeds • Seed Production- process in which the seed forms

Basic Needs Plants need 5 basic things to survive: • Air-plants need air to make their own food and grow • Water-too much or too little water can cause a plant to die • Nutrients- nutrients can be found in the soil or water • Space-plants need a certain amount of space to grow • Light-plants can get light from the Sun or from indoor light
