Deborah Alessi is a dedicated humanitarian who has used her skills and abilities to help people who have faced domestic violence or gang related violence. Dr. David Alessi is a plastic surgeon and he supported Deborah’s desire to help women by providing reconstructive facial surgery so that these women can start life anew.
Deborah Alessi was always determined that one day she will certainly do something to help other victims of violence. She co-founded Face Forward with her husband Dr. David Alessi and together they have been providing help to women by allowing them to live their life comfortably. There are many victims of domestic abuse who don’t come forward because of lack of information, but Face Forward aims to spread information and reach out to these women and provide them with a helping hand. The Beginning of Face Forward
Face Forward is a non profitable organization that works to provide physical and emotional reconstruction for women and children who have been victimized by domestic or gang related violence. Deborah Alessi believes that when a person’s body or face becomes badly scarred or disfigured due to violence and abuse its more than the body that gets affected. Their confidence and self esteem go down and many times they are rejected by other people and have difficulty in finding jobs because of their disfigurement. Through face forward she wants to help such people get back to normal life by providing them free reconstructive surgery. About Face Forward
Being a person who is totally committed to Face Forward, Deborah Alessi says that she is going to keep working for this cause as long as she is alive. She and David are working very hard to help as many people as they can. They both want to make this organization even bigger so that they can help even more people. With the upcoming Face Forward Gala 2012 which will be held on September 15, 2012, Deborah Alessi aims to spread more information about the organization and reach out to more people who need help.
