  1. Photo Shoot Planning-Reggae magazine AsiyaMallu

  2. Photo shoot concept • I will be doing a photo shoot based on the theme Reggae. This is because the theme of magazine is on Reggae magazine. • The key shots I will need are mid-shots for the front cover as the basic conventions of a Reggae magazine is to have a mid-shot on the front cover.

  3. Aims • I am to take more than 5 pictures. This will of the front cover, contents page and the DPS. • I will then edit them so they are suitable to put on my front cover. • But first I will have to ask my teacher if the pictures are suitable enough for the magazine.

  4. Date and timings • Some of the photos may be taken on Thursday the 14th of July 2013. In the St Angela's Sixth form corridor, and in the garden. The weather is sunny, but it is frosty. • The remaining photos may be taken on Saturday 16th July 2013 outside a Jamaican shop on Plashet Road. • I will take 1 hour each or more to shoot the necessary images for the magazine, this includes make-up and clothing.

  5. Location: • I have 4 different settings to take my pictures. • The first one is inside St Angelas’s Corridor inside sixth form. • The second shot may be taken in the drama hall, this is because there is a stage there. • The third shot may be taken in ST Angela’s garden on the benches. • The fourth shot may be outside a Jamaican shop on Plashet Road

  6. Props • The I will be using are jewellery, based on the Rasta theme. • Guitar so it symbolises music. • Clothing, of which you would wear to the seaside e.g. shorts tank top • Face paint

  7. models • One of my models are South Indian and Caribbean, this helped because she gave me ideas on how I could arrange my props, her name is IlamathyTamijarassane • My other model SubankyJeyakanthan is Malaysian.

  8. team • I have a friend Mehjabinpatel, she will be helping me with the face paint, she will be doing the face paint on the models.

  9. Equipment and preperation • I had done sketches for my preparation on what I though my photograph would look like. This will help me so I have an visual image of what Image I will be taking. • The equipment I will be needing is an SLR camera.
