  1. Color Run! National Harbor fun!

  2. What is the Color run? • The Color Run, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, is a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality. • As you run the 5k there a areas where you will be splashed with rainbow colors!

  3. Where is it hosted? Date? • The Color run will be located at the National Harbor! • It will be hosted on May 18th, 2014. • National Harbors URL - http://nationalharbor.com

  5. How will we get there? • First we will meet up at the Vienna metro station at 7:00am • Take the metro to Kings Street • There will be a bus that will take us to the National Harbor, tickets are $10.00 each way. It comes hourly. Full bus info on next slide!*

  6. What do I need to bring? What do I need to wear? We do get a bag of goodies, a bag would be great to carry everything in! A simple drawstring bag is suggested!

  7. Commonly asked questions! • How does a “Color Team” work compared with a solo runner?
You register as a team (4 people minimum) rather than as an individual.  You get to pick a groovy custom team name, anything from “The Roy G Biv All-stars” to “We Sweat Rainbows.” • What is included with my The Color Run registration?
Runners will receive a custom The Color Run race shirt and over the shoulder bag, tattoo, bag of color, race bib, Color Runner finisher sweat band, and sponsor goodies • How strict is the “white clothing dress code” for the start of the event?
As long as runners wear shirts that are mostly white, they are good to go! • What is the color made out of?
The color powder used at The Color Run event is food grade cornstarch and is 100% natural.  As with any substance, you want to keep it out of your eyes and our “certified” color throwers make sure to aim low as you pass by.  Some Color Runners opt to wear glasses or goggles for their eyes and use a bandana or dust mask for their mouths. • Do you have “cleaning stations” at the finish after party?
We have air blown color cleaning at the finish line. With a good dusting off, you aren’t 100% clean, but you are good for the drive home.  It is actually pretty fun to see people still colorful around town after The Color Run event.  It is like a badge of honor!
