Hvorfor? • Windows 2008 R2 har Mainstream Support End Date 13. januar 2015 • Mange AD-nyheter i Windows server 2012 og 2012R2 • De viktigste her for oss er: Bedre GPO-verktøy, flere Powershell cmdlets, forbedringer rundt AD FS/SAML, RID, Kerberos, Fine-Grained Password Policy, Active Directory Replication and Topology Windows PowerShell cmdlets, Active Directory Based Activation (AD BA), Group Managed Service Accounts (gMSA).

  3. Stikkord • Virtuelle domenekontrollere (beholder en fysisk en stund – den nyeste gamle) • Ny navnestandard (dc01.uio.no, dc02.uio.no) • Nye ip-adresser – OBS OBS • Gradvis innføring av2012 R2 domenekontrollere • Parallelt med gradvis utfasing av eldre 2008R2 domenekontrollere. • Til slutt heving av AD-nivå til 2012 R2
