Background • Colleagues noticed an Increased numbers of children with autism attending Paediatric Community Dental Services. • This presented a number of challenges as the service was not equipped for children with this condition. • Local Parents attending community support groups requested improved dental services for children with autism. • Staff working within the Child Development Centre identified a need for improved services for children with autism.
