  2. MISSION • The mission of the Homeland Security Training Branch is to support the Weapons of Mass Destruction First Responder community of California by providing training referrals, exercise support and the coordinated delivery of training and training materials.

  3. Objectives • Support the training efforts of California responders • Liaison with State & Federal Partners for WMD/CBRNE/Terrorism and other Training • Enhance Training Partnerships • Improve Tracking and Accountability of Training Activities

Allowable Training Cost • Overtime & backfill for emergency preparedness & response personnel attending FEMA-sponsored & approved training classes • Overtime and backfill expenses for part-time and volunteer emergency response personnel participating in FEMA training • Training workshops and conferences Full- and or part-time staff or contractors/consultants • Supplies • Tuition for higher education

  13. Allowable Training Cost • Cost to develop, deliver, and evaluate training, planning, scheduling, facilities, materials, supplies, reproduction of materials and equipment. • Staff or contractors/consultants. • Travel cost (airfare, mileage, per diem)
