A govt school teacher takes the tuition class. Aasim went to LKG at the age of 4 • Seema, F, 15, drop out from Std 8 in Jan this year, Amjadteaches Seemain his free time without charge. • saima, F, 3, is always at home

Case Study Two: HH No. 9 • Saira’a, 28, never been to school • Saira’s husband Latif is dead • Saira’s sister hajira, 30, never been to school Saira’s children: • Humaira, F, 4, not going to preschool • Atif, M, 7, nursery of a pvt. school, Also take Tuition and pays a monthly payment of Rs.100. • Aman, M, 14, 8th, govt. school which was not observed yesterday, has never attended preschool • Latif’s brother Majeed, 40, 8th • Majeed’s wife Nasira, 35, 8th Majeed and Nasira'schildren: • qasim, M, 6, Katchi, takes classes in the same school as Atif. • Waqas, M, 17 years • sumaira, F, 10, studies in 5th Std of the school surveyed yesterday.

Case Study Three: HH No. 17 • Kareem, 38, 12th • kareem’s wife Rasul BB is dead Kareem’s children: • Wasif, M, 10,4th, in pvt. school, out of village at the time of visit • Munir, M, 11, Wasif’scousin who has come from another village for holidays • Bushra, F, 5, in Std 1, govt. school surveyed by volunteers, kareem says Bushra’s tuition classes are not helpful even though he pays Rs. 200 per month. • kareem’s sister Neelam, 30, never been to school (NBTS) • Neelam’shusband Hashmat, 35, 8th Neelam and Hashmat’s children: • Jamila, F, 7, Pakki, govt. school, goes for extra classes to his school teacher who do not charges a fee. Her school was not visited by volunteers • Qasim, M, 12, NBTS or any preschool, goes to the same teacher (above)
