  2. 1 • Lincoln - Yeah, I sent supplies there! Bring it on, you Rebels! • Bullet - Shot #1 • Confederacy - Take that, Abe! This war is on & we'll win!

  3. 2 • Union - Oops...we need more real soldiers - these Rebs mean business • Confederacy - Ft. Sumter=taken! 1st battle=won. war=DONE!

  4. 3 • Press #1 - General McClellan, Lee & his army just retreated! If you hurry you could catch him & end this war! • McClellan - No, there's been too much bloodshed today. We'll catch them when I'm ready. • Press #2 – Dumb.

  5. 4 • Union Flag – Still Slaves • Confederate Flag – Slaves Freed WEAK

  6. 5 • Flashback – PA July 3, 1863 • Robert E. Lee – Yeah…so having them run uphill into the middle of the Yanks was probably a BAD idea. It could be why we lost…everything.

  7. 6 • Confederate citizen #1 – Wait, I thought we were winning this war! • Confederate citizen #2 – Dude, that was before Lee lost the bloodiest battle of the war after 3 days in Pennsylvania! Bye-bye European help.

  8. 7 • July 4, 1863 Union soldier – Sir, the siege finally worked! We control the Mississippi! President • Lincoln – Excellent! Our plan is complete. They’re split in half & can’t help themselves. Britain won’t help now either.

  9. 8 • Union Flag + Chains + Slave = ?

  10. 9 • Ship 1 – none shall pass! • Ship 2 – Seriously, nothing’s going in or out past our ships without a fight.

  11. 10 • Confederate Soldier April 1861 – Hey France & Britain! No cotton unless you send us soldiers & ships to help us fight! • Confederate Soldier July 5, 1863 – Oh, you’ve got enough cotton, huh? And…you don’t think we can win anymore? D’OH!

  12. 11 • General Winfield Scott • If we put ships around the South they can’t get any supplies! They’ll run out & lose! • Oh! Oh! If we control the Mississippi River, the CSA will be split in 2! They can’t communicate or help each other!

  14. 13 • Confederate Citizen – Hey why aren’t you going to fight?! Confederate • Plantation Owner – Uh…I own 20 slaves, remember! I don’t have to! Being rich rules! Confederate • Confederate Citizen – (thought) jerk.

  15. 14 • Up Arrow – Prices • Down Arrow – Value of $ • 1861 Groceries – Milk, eggs, butter, coffee $10 • CW Check $18 • 1865 Groceries – Milk, eggs, butter, coffee $34.25

  16. 15 • William T. Sherman – Hey what is that over there? Can our enemy use it to defeat us? • William T. Sherman – They can? Destroy it! Don’t leave anything they can use against us.
