  1. Placido’s Post April 10, 2014 What’s New in Third Grade? Report cards are coming home in today’s Thursday Folder! Please look over them, and all materials included. Sign and return the envelope (for 3rd 9 weeks) tomorrow. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you so much  What We’re Learning Upcoming Dates 4/14 – Author Visit from Angie Spady 4/15 – Spring Pictures 4/17 – HOPE Assembly, 10:30am 4/24 – Reading MAP Test 4/25 – Math MAP Test Reading – We have been studying poetry and dramas this week. We will begin nonfiction reading about the Solar System next week!Social Studies– Regions of the United StatesWord Work –Bossy R Test tomorrow (are, eer, air, ear)Math – We are currently working on two math units to make up for our missed days! We are working on our geometry unit and our 2nd fraction unit! Notes Please continue to save your boxtops for our classroom! We can earn money for classroom books and supplies! Send them in anytime!
