  4. My personal goal was to collect three hundred pieces of food or supplies to help the less fortunate. First, a call was made to the pantry to see what the need was. They were able to send an email stating all the food items they were in need of. The Frisco Food Pantry supplies over 30,000 pounds of food and needed items to more than 325 families each month.  We need your help to help stock their pantry for now and the upcoming holiday season.  My brother and I are working on a project this year to give back to our community and  have decided to team up with the Frisco Food Pantry. We could really use your help.  Have you ever thought that you would like to help give back to your community but just did not know how , well here is how you can help. 6. Hello Viking Families. I am emailing each of you to ask for your support in giving back to our community.  We all really blessed with all that we have but there are so many that are not in this town that you may or may not be aware of. Secondly, each of us decided to send an email to our football, baseball and soccer teams to ask them to help contribute to our mission.
  7. Next, I decided to ask our Neighborhood Clubhouse to set up a table at the Fall Festival to have people donate food items in exchange for a prize. The prize was some Halloween toys and some Rice Krispies Treats which my mother and I stayed up late making the night before the festival.
  8. As people would donate, I would stack and organize the food in our front family room. When people gave a cash donation, I would go to the store with my mother and would purchase items with the money.
  9. Once we were finished collecting all food and supplies, we loaded the cars up and headed to the Frisco Food Pantry. Once we arrived we unloaded all of the food into boxes and took them into the pantry to be weighed and checked in.
