  2. How the tsunami formed? • The tsunami was formed by an earthquake in the ocean. • In the earthquake one oceanic plate slides up and one oceanic plate slides down and that causes a big wave.

  3. What happened? • The tsunami wave was traveling 500 mph at minimum speed and it won’t stop until it hits land. • More than 160,000 people died in the tsunami and many were hospitalized. • Many homes were destroyed along with schools and other buildings.

  4. Where the disaster took place? • The tsunami affected countries in the northeastern Indian Ocean. • The countries that had worst damage are Indonesia, Thailand, India, and Sri Lanka.

  5. After the tsunami struck, the whole world donated medicine, money, food, and clean drinking water to the victims of the tsunami. Most of the victims that survived got sick and some died of the squalid water that was left. Australia gave the most amount of money The outcome Most giving country to the victims:
