  1. What does the charity do? Provide a family for those who don’t have one. Help families who are struggling and keep them together

  2. How do they give children families? • Build SOS Children Villages • 512 villages in 125 countries • Between 7 and 10 children become a family with adult • Each village has 12 or so families • First village built in 1949 in Austria

  3. How do they help other families • Provide medical care • Build schools • Provide support for families nearby the village

  4. How do they raise money ? • Donations are used to build the villages • Pay monthly donations • One off payments • Eventually the villages are funded through Child Sponsors • Write/Visit • Regular updates on how the child is doing
