What does Workshop Success Look Like? • Not about solving today’s problems with today’s tools. • Step back and ask whether original design principles of the Internet can sustain us, or whether we instead need new or modified principles.

What does Workshop Success Look Like? • Common understanding and language among (at least) researchers, practitioners, funding agencies and vendors • What’s broken right now • Agreed architectural principles for R&E network designs • Manageability goals/requirements for R&E networks.
