Ipod Touch-What is it? The iPod Touch is a portable media player, personal digital assistant (PDA) and Wi-Fi (Connects to wireless internet networks such as the one in our school) Mobile platform. It is operated through the touch screen. It can be used to contain music, video and photos, documents and recorded sound files, such as pupils reading. It can be used with headphones and a microphone. It can connect to wireless networks for internet access and also has bluetooth capability. An ‘ App’ (application) is a program Downloaded from the internet, usually from the iTunes Store, Pre-installed Apps (Standard on the iPod Touch) eg: Calendar, Notes, Clock, Weather, Calculator etc. iTunes Apps Store (Free or paid Apps usually a few dollars, audio books. Podcasts-ABC , iTunes On/Off Home Button
