What is special of the internet? • An internet is been described as being as important for society as the development of the personal computer, the telephone or even the printing press. Yet, it is difficult to explain to those who have never used the internet how it has the power to change lives, to create new business or to bring far- flung families closer together. For those who have started to use the internet , and have gone beyond the initial frustration associated with using any new technology, the internet can do all things and more.
What is the difference between the internet and the world wide web? • The internet is a massive network, a networking infrastructure. It connects millions of computers together globally, forming a network in which any computer can communicate with any other computer as long as they are both connected to the internet. Information that travels over the internet does so via a variety of languages know as (protocol). • The World Wide Web, or simply web, is a way of accessing information over the medium of the internet. It is an information –sharing model that is build on top of the internet. The world wide web is named as www.????????????.com world wide web always come first than the name of the website you wanna access in.
