U.S. Demographics of Pilot Population Considering mandatory retirement age of 65 Approximately 85,000 pilots (31%) are aged 55 or older Among this age group 34,000 (13%) will be eligible for retirement from 2015 Approximately 118,000 pilots (43%) are aged 50 or more Among this age group, another 34,000 will be eligible for retirement from 2020

The Bottom LiNE Given the Projected Pilot Demand in North America, and the Current Training Infrastructure, a USAAP is not needed. Based on the new “Pilot-Act”, the Current Training Infrastructure will need to be Changed Given the Enormous Global Pilot Need, Fundamental Changes Need to Occur in the Industry Inherent Complication of the Logistics of a UASSP run Program
ANOTHER BOTTOM LINE “The Government needs to do only what the people cannot do better by themselves, and no more”
