Needs Assessment: This new program will require staff training. They must have computer access so that they can access the online tutorial or bring their laptops to a scheduled meeting, which everyone does not have.
Instructional Goal: The learners will be able to locate and open SoftChalk without assistance. After viewing the instructional video, the staff members will be able to make a lesson.
Performance Objectives: Using SoftChalk, the learner will be able to make a simple lesson after watching the instructional video and step-by-step instructions with minimal or no errors.
Assessment of Learning Outcomes: I will issue a test after the staff members have viewed the instructional video.
Learner Characteristics: The target audience is teachers, paraprofessionals and any other staff member who wants to learn how to make a lesson using SoftChalk. The learners should have basic computer knowledge. A pre test would help me determine what I would need to instruct in my video.
Learning Context: The learners should have a computer with internet access either at home or at work with the downloaded software SoftChalk. If needed, I will hold a meeting in the computer lab.

Instructional Resources: The learners will need a computer with internet access. Also, downloaded SoftChalk from softchalk.com.
Formative Evaluation: My strategies for evaluating my instructional design plan will be, collecting continues peer reviews and expert review. I will review the feedback from the instructor and peers.
Summary The faculty members will be able to understand the instructions and complete the goal of making a lesson by using SoftChalk.
