  5. Rights and responsibilities • Breach of contract - Lawsuit filed - Renter- Most common: failure to pay rent. -Landlord- failure to provide

  6. Eviction • Fail to live up to responsibilities • Can only evict after renter fails in responsibilities • Varies from state to state • Written legal notice- warning

  7. Renters Insurance • Protection against the loss of personal property due to theft, fire, or other causes
