HBD support structure in PISA • After some discussion between Charlie, Hugo, Hubert and myself there was a common agreement that this HBD support structure should be a part of the list of PISA “Passive Volumes” like beam pipe, magnets, helium bag etc. • The code ‘hbd_support.f’ will be in CVS in directory ‘simulation/pisa/src/phnxcore’. • I’ve defined in ‘gugeom.f’ a new parameter ‘HBDS’ which should be used in ‘pisa.kumac’. • In order to perform the proper comparison I’ve generated 1M pi^0 Dalitz decays in 4 different setups: • (++) magnetic field w/o HBD and w/o its support; • (++) magnetic field w/o HBD but w/ its support (Run-8); • (++) magnetic field w/ HBD and its support (Run-9 500 GeV); • (+-) magnetic field w/ HBD and its support (Run-9 200 GeV); I.
