Transportation Before 1959 Train: Installation completed in Cuba at November 19th, 1837. First train in Latino America. It was introduced in Cuba 10 years before than in Spain and 12 years later in England. First in the world used to transport sugar to a sugar refinery.

Education in Cuba Before 1959 : The Cuban Literacy Campaign. It began on January 1 and ended on December 22, 1961, becoming the world's most ambitious and organized literacy campaign. The campaign was a remarkable success, and by the completion of the campaign, 707,212 adults were taught to read and write, raising the national literacy rate to 96% After 1959 It has been a highly ranked system for many years until 2003 when Castro decided to replace “teachers by tele- classess”
