Movement • By Nick Willhoite • The imports in Cuba are food, petroleum, chemicals, equipment, and machinery. The exports are tobacco, sugar, coffee, nickel, citrus fruit and fish. Transportation in Cuba is the same as in the United States. They use cars, bikes, buses, trains and airplanes. They communicate using Spanish as their official language. They also speak English in some parts. One fad in Cuba is the Castro Cap after the hat their leader wears. The fashion is casual, summer clothes because it is warm in Cuba.
Region By: Edward S. • The region of Cuba varies in land forms such as cliffs, hills, plains, and small swamps. It’s a small country, but it’s home to over 11,477,459 people and rising. Native Cubans take customs VERY seriously. Instead of small parties for b-days, it’s a whole festival! Most of the religions in Cuba is Catholic, but there is also a variety of African religions too. The main language is Spanish in Cuba.

Environment in Cuba is mountain, beach, and flat elsewhere. Humans in Cuba have adapted to the environment by using rivers to fish and get water. Humans modified the Cuban environment by building dams out of mud to store water. Cubans depend on the environment by getting the medicine out of plants to cure people. Effects of changes in the environment are the moving of the meadow animals.

The land is mostly used for farming like citrus fruits and wheat. Also what is the population of Cuba? There are about 11,224,761 people in Cuba recorded this year. Physical characteristics are what type of landforms are there? There are oceans, flat farm land, and mountains. Another physical characteristic is climate. The climate in Cuba is tropical. It’s always hot with temperatures of 22 degrees Celsius through 27 degrees Celsius. Those are the human and physical characteristics of place.
