  2. Glomus tumor in the stomach is rare, arising from the musclar layer of gastric submucosa. • We present the radiologic findings of gastric glomus tumors in three patients: • upper gastrointestinal series • computed tomography • magnetic resonance imaging • The diagnosis was surgical confirmed.

  3. population of small round cells with prominent vascular channels. immunohistochemical properties like smooth muscle Glomus tumor

  4. Case 1 • 60 year-old man • Gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer with regular medicine • Upper GI endoscopy: • a well-circumscribed elevated lesion in the posterior wall of antrum • 2.3 cm in size • smooth mucosal surface • EUS: hyperechoic lesion

  5. Upper gastrointestinal series

  6. Computed Tomography

  7. Magnetic Resonance Image

  8. Gastric wedge resection of the submucosal tumor • Pathological report: glomus tumor • small round cells with central nucli • Positive SMA stain • Negative of CD34, CD117, S-100, synaptophysin and chromogranin stain

  9. Case 2 • 31 year-old woman • No known medial diseases • Upper GI endoscopy on healthy check up: • a polypoid lesion in the posterior wall- greater curvature site of antrum • 2.0 cm in size • smooth mucosal surface

  10. Upper gastrointestinal series

  11. Computed Tomography

  12. Case 3 • 54 year-old woman • Epigastric pain for 3 months • Upper GI endoscopy: • a elevated mass at the posterior wall- lesser curvature site of antrum • 2 cm in size • smooth surface

  13. Upper gastrointestinal series

  14. Conclusion • Mostly frequent location: greater curvature side of antrum • Tumor size: small, less than 4 cm • CT and MR imaging: • Nonspecific T1WI and T2WI • hypervascular • persistanat enhancement

  15. Conclusion • Typical location, size and hypervascular image characteristics. • Recognition of these image findings of gastric glomus tumor can help us to make more accurate interpretation and differential diagnosis of submucosal tumors of the stomach.
