Faculty Expectations________________________________________________ Faculty want online access to more digitized material, simpler means of finding material dispersed across collections, the ability to create new digital content quickly, assistance in organizing personal collections, and the ability to embed resources and services from a variety of sources in the environments where they conduct their daily intellectual lives. 7 March 2007
Student Expectations _______________________________________________ Generation Y (16-25 yr olds) is hooked on technology and is better educated than any other generation. They see technology as an extension of how they relate to each other. They expect collaborative working environments in which they can work from anywhere, any time, and with anyone. Gen Y’ers are impatient multi-taskers used to instant everything. 7 March 2007
