What Will We Do? • 1 Night Camp Out=2 Half Days of Backpacking • 1 Night in Residential Accommodation • 1 Night in tents at Residential Accommodation • Combination of Higher Ground Activities and All Saints Directed Activities
Groups • Groups are arranged around Houses • Each House will be split into 2 mixed groups • Your tutor will supervise one group and your HOH will supervise the other. • You will do most activities this week as a House group • Cabins will be organised by Mr Evans and will be based around House groups.
All Saints Activities • Journal Writing and Personal Qualities Pod • Leadership skills • Self discovery • Rite of Passage Bonfire • Gift from Parents • ’80’s disco’ night
Personal Qualities Pod • Each student in Year 11 will be creating a Pod on camp that will be placed on a totem pole. The totem will stand in the Year 12 area for the duration of 2013. • Each person’s pod will be displayed House by House on the totem. • In service for this will be held over the next 3 weeks. Start thinking about what will go in your Pod.
Rites of Passage BonfireWednesday Night • Wednesday Night-Whole of Grade 11 Cohort back at camp • Bonfire • Getting rid of the past and moving into the future as part of the Grade 12 class of 2014 • Gift from your parent-very important(See report package)

Why? • Prepare students mentally, physically and spiritually for their upcoming Year 12 year. • Explore issues relating to leadership, initiative, compassion, character and resilience • Further enhance House spirit • Further develop the connection that exists between student, the Head of House and the respective tutor. • Encourage the class of 2014 to work together and bond as a collective unit in preparation for the challenges that lie ahead
