  3. Design Analysis: • Describe the image: • What do you see? • How did the artist arrive at this result? (what tools were used) • Try and name at least five tools and describe how they have been used. • Describe the mood of the picture: • Is it sombre? (sad), dream like? Confusing? • Art elements and principles: • Art Elements: Colour, line, texture. Art principles: movement and emphasis (focal point). • Describe your reaction to the picture: • What is your opinion of the picture and why?

  4. Get familiar with this interface. Can you name all the areas of this screen shot? How large is the document? Where is the zoom tool? How do I create a new layer?

Computer task: • Do not forget to be as creative as you can • PHOTOSHOP CS3 • Create a new document in Photoshop (500x500 pixels) • 5 layers • Texture, pattern, line, shape and text • Save as a layered photoshop file • Name it correctly and put it in your file • Check that your file saves correctly for the exam (tell me if there are any problems) • FLASH CS3 • Import the photoshop file into Flash • Animate it • Show what you can do with 60 keyframes or more • Name it, save it, publish it
