Delivery • Teaching staff for INTO UEA London programmes will be appointed by and to the Joint Venture • UEA degree programmes will be taught by UEA academic staff attaching to UEA Schools
Administrative operations • Support staff to be appointed by the JV • Responsibility for admin processes relating to INTO UEA London programmes rests with JV • Admin processes for UEA degree students rest with JV to greatest practicable extent influenced by: • economies of scale • SITS availability • Early appointments include: • Academic support manager (JV) • Marketing and communications co-ordinator (JV) • Progressions and UEA course champion (UEA)
Governance • UEA PGs and UGs to be registered in UEA Schools • UEA PGs and UGs to be subject to UEA regulations in all respects • INTO UEA London students to be categorised as students of both JV and UEA • INTO UEA London to be an Associate College of the University • Study Centre a more appropriate designation for enterprise as a whole • UEA London to be neither School or Faculty
Quality assurance • INTO UEA London validated programmes to be subject to JBoS overview • UEA degree programmes to be subject to normal UEA QA framework
Student services • Diverse student body • Distance of City and UEA from Middlesex St. • In-house provision led by initial senior JV appointment • Buy-in of support services from City University • UEA supplementation
Library • On-line e-resource provision from UEA • Physical library provision to include: • Learning Resource Centre • access and borrowing rights at City’s main collections • Senate House for pgs
