Croeso Welcome to Y6. Learn new skills. Be independent. Achieve my potential. The Y6 Year. Secondary school admissions. All parents of pupils in Year 6 at a Cardiff Primary School will receive an application form and a letter. These letters will be given to the pupils to take home.

  3. Secondary school admissions • All parents of pupils in Year 6 at a Cardiff Primary School will receive an application form and a letter. These letters will be given to the pupils to take home. • The letter will provide you with a user identification number so that you can apply for a secondary school place online.   • Or you can use the preference form provided. You must fill in the preference form and return it to us by the date given on the form. Your preferred school • We recommend that you visit schools before you complete your application. Each school has its own prospectus and staff are happy to show parents around if you make an appointment. • Please note that Roman Catholic schools and some Church in Wales schools have separate admission arrangements to other LEA schools. Please contact the schooldirectly for more information.
