CEP Purpose • Assess for additional/enhanced skills • Increase exposure • Awareness for future mobility • Increase job satisfaction and morale • Increase productivity • Incentive to work at full capacity • Decrease turnover
Criteria for Eligibility • Complete original probationary period • Permanent employee with one or more years of service • Very good to excellent attendance record • Performance Review rating of no less than 4 • Must complete formal application process
CEP Application Process • Program announcements • Applications available in the Department of Education and the Human Resources Department • Applications screened to meet eligibility requirements • Panel interview
CEP Program Description • Ten (10) week course • Hour and a half class • Presentations on “Hot Jobs in Healthcare” • Job Shadowing (Bi-annually) • Mentoring (Volunteer)
