Hardware and Pearson VUE Applications(No dedicated equipment is required to support Pearson VUE software) • The main pieces of hardware used for administering and delivering • exams are the Administrative Workstation and Test Deliver • Workstations • Admin workstation: Admit candidates for exams • Test delivery workstation: Deliver exams • The test center’s Administrative Workstation is connected to the Pearson VUE Hub via the Internet Pearson VUE Hub System Test Delivery Workstations Internet Administrative Workstation

Pearson VUE Administrator/Proctor • General Responsibilities: • Ensure secure and appropriate testing environment • Proctor candidates during exam delivery • Utilize Pearson VUE applications -Site Manager – manage site -Delivery Manager – launch exams -Registration Manager – register candidates • Verify candidate identification • Capture photos and digital signatures, as required • Report incidents affecting candidates’ performance
Administrator/Proctor Training • No-cost, open book exam • PowerPoint training • Policy and Procedure Guide • Allowed 1 ½ hours to take exam (Average administrator/proctor completes exam within 30 – 45 minutes) • First exam to be delivered at your center is the Pearson VUE Administrator/Proctor exam • Administrators/Proctors will be required to re-certify annually
Exam FeesHow are exam fees processed? • All exam registration fees and transactions are handled by the Pearson • VUE software. No money is exchanged between test center & test • candidate. • There are two forms of payment: • Pearson VUE exam vouchers • Credit cards
Exam Scheduling Process • Candidates can schedule exams in one of three ways, depending on the exam: • On the Internet via the Pearson VUE web site http://www.pearsonvue.com • Over the phone by calling the designated Pearson VUE customer service number for the desired exam http://www.pearsonvue.com/contact/vuephone/ • At YOUR test center! You will use the Registration Manager application to schedule candidate exams

The 5 Steps to Becoming a Test Center Step 1 – Apply Complete an online application - www.pearsonvue.com/pvtc and attach all supporting documents, which include a copy of testing center floor plan and photographs Step 2 – Sign Once we receive your application, we will send you a contract and additional forms that might apply.
The 5 Steps to Becoming a Test Center • Step 3- Approval • Once approved, we will send a pre-activation pack (containing material • for your test center), counter-signed contract, Pearson VUE Site ID • and we will request you to procure the Enhanced Security Protocol(ESP) • Kit. • Step 4: Install • Once you have your ESP Kit our Pearson VUE Support Services • (VSS) Team will assist you in doing all the installations needed to set- • up your center for test delivery • Pearson VUE Support Services team is available to assist • 1-800-704-3613 option 2. • *Site has 30 days to complete installation*
The 5 Steps to Becoming a Test Center • Step 5: Train • Finally, we will send your designated Test Administrator (TA) • the Polices & Procedure Guide to be certified. Once your TA • passes the test and installations are done, you will be • activated to start test delivery. Administrator/Proctor Training • Login to Pearson VUE Support Services web site • Train using the self-paced PowerPoint presentation and other administrator training materials • Take a no-cost, informal, open-book administrator/proctor exam on a Pearson VUE Test Delivery workstation at your test center
