5. Definition of Sociometry The technique of studying structure of a group and measuring the status of each individual is known as sociometry. It is the measurement of social relationships that exists among the members of the group.

8. समाजमितिविधि समाजमिति की मूलआवश्यकता एक समाजमितिक परीक्षणहोता है। इस परीक्षण की कुछ आवश्यकताएं भीहोती हैंजो नीचे दि गई हैं: : 1. उत्तरदाता या प्रतिभागी को समूह की सीमाओं के बारे में सूचित किया जाना चाहिए। 2. प्रतिभागी के सामने असीमित विकल्प होने चाहिए। 3. प्रतिभागी की किसी व्यक्ति केp`it स्वीकृति या अस्वीकृति किसी विशिष्ट मानदंड पर ही होनी चाहिए।

9. समाजमितिविधि 4. समूह को परीक्षण के परिणामों के आधार पर पुनर्गठित किया जाना चाहिए। 5. प्रतिभागी द्वारा लोगों की स्वीकृति या अस्वीकृति उसकी व्यक्तिगत राय के आधार परही होनी चाहिए और उसकी व्यक्तिगत राय को गुप्त रखाजाना चाहिए । 6. समाजमितिक मानदंड (प्रश्न/कथन) प्रतिभागी द्वारा स्पष्ट रूप से समझा जाना चाहिए।

10. Sociometric Method The basic requirement of sociometry is a sociometric test. The test also have few requisites: 1. The respondent or subject should be informed about the limitations of the group. 2. The subject should have unlimited alternatives. 3. The acceptance or rejection of a person by the subject should be on a given specific criterion.

The acceptance or rejection of peoples by the subject must be on her/his personal opinion and should not be revealed to anyone. 6. The sociometric criterion (Questions/statements) must be clearly understood by the subject in letter and spirit.
