6. A Typical Day At Carnival • Morning sports session – 8:30am for 9.00am start • Meet for communal lunch at Pit Lane, approx 12.30pm • Lunch and drink provided • Shuttle buses between sport activities to lunch venue as well as to Tennis/Netball venue – MSAC – Pit Lane – David Mandie Pavilion • Kosher food and drinks will also be on sale • Afternoon sports session, pick up at 4.30pm • Home to freshen up • Evening social function Thanks to our sponsors

8. Sports • Competitive (Comp) and Social (Soc) sport Athletes will also have the opportunity to compete in a biathlon that will involve a swim then a run. This is an additional event. 10. Community Day • Will be held on Sunday 18 January. • Participants will be pre allocated to community activities. • Lunch will be provided. • Compulsory attendance by all. Thanks to our sponsors

11. Security & Health SECURITY • Security provided by CSG as well as Private Security Patrols. • ID Tags to be worn at all times. HEALTH • Hatzolah will be in attendance daily. • Any injuries or health issues must be reported to Team Vic Managers. • You should have declared any medical conditions already. • Hot weather policy – if 38 degrees or above at 1.30pm then sport called off. 15. Member Protection Policy • Code of Conduct • This Code of Conduct outlines the minimum standards of behaviour for anyone involved in Maccabi. The Code of Conduct applies both on and off the sporting field and at all Maccabi-sanctioned events. It summarises the overarching principles that apply to all Maccabi Participants. Code of Conduct • All participants must comply with Code of Conduct • Billeting • Smoking, Alcohol and Illegal drugs Policy, new caffeine policy • Weapons • Personal violence and bullying / cyber bullying • Serious offenses will result in children being removed from Carnival. • Code of Conduct should have by now been read and fully understood. 17. Member Protection Policy • Please remember that the MPP policy is in place at all times during Carnival. • This would include times when the participants are not at a Carnival event. • Appropriate behaviour is required when at home and with your billet. • If there are any concerns in relation to anything here, or if you believe an issue needs to be reported, Team VIC Manager, David Michelson is to be contacted directly. 18. Cancellation Policy • Cancellations before 21 November incur admin fee of $60 • Cancellations after 21 November but before 19 December incur admin fee of $120 • Cancellations after 19 December will be assessed on a case by case basis • No refund on uniforms Thanks to our sponsors

19. Uniform Pickup • If you have ordered a Junior Carnival sports uniform but not yet collected it, please contact the Maccabi Office 9563 5885/ teamvic@macvic.com.au asap to organise collection.
