God’s Answer God appeared to Job, showing Him His greatness, majesty and power in Creation, and replied: “I am God, and beyond your understanding. My ways are beyond your understanding. Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Can you tell Me the secrets of existence? Are you as ancient, or as great as I? “ “As for you, Job’s friends, go to Job with gifts, and ask him to pray for you, for you spoke foolishly: but now Job has seen My greatness, and understood that innocent suffer, and this is a great mystery, beyond your ability to understand. Job answered the Lord: “I uttered what I did not understand, things I did not know. But now my eye sees you, I repent in dust and ashes, and will speak no more.” And God blessed Job twice as much as he had before, and blessed the end of his days more than his beginning.
