Centre e-santé: keyfigures • Located in Toulouse (south-east of France) • Governance: Toulouse University Hospital, 2 local clusters, local authorities, industrialists, research labs • Involved in more than 20 proposals: local, national, European calls (AAL, Regions of Knowledge) • Fields of expertise: new care organizations linked to ICT introduction, business models constructions, technical specifications corresponding to medical and social expressed needs • Work in cooperation with regional health authority (RoK project) • Links to Toulouse Gerontopole, worldwide famous gerontology hospital specialized in frailty detection and dependence, and to IAGG (International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics) • Nearness of platinnEs, french national platform for e-health solutions assessment

Project idea • Use of ICT to detect frailty and postpone the beginning of dependence • Willing to evaluate the impact of Fried criterion for frailty detection: weight, walking speed, grip test • Not intrusive technologies (home automation & medicaldevices) • Alerts generations and management by a case manager

Project idea • 2 groups: • 1 equiped, 1 not • Comparison of the impacts: medical / socioeconomical • Need for: • technology providers • Other clinic investigation centres • Local authorities willing to contribute • Labs for evaluation of the experimentation (sociological acceptance, economical impact…)
