  4. Geographical situation • 50 kms to the Mediterraneansea • 50 kms to Montpellier (the capital of the region)

  5. Lodève is the southgate to the Larzac

  6. The school • 950 studentsaged 15-20 • In process of expanding, willbecompleted in September 2014 • Manydifferent sections (art, economics, science, language and literature, architecture…) • Aim of 40 mobilities in the programme

  7. Important whenyou come to Lodève • Most of the students and teachers as welldon’t live in Lodève. Wewill have to care about transports • It is the first time the schoolisinvolved in such an exchange • Most of the students in Lodève belong to the lower or low middle class. The economic background of the area ispoor.

  8. Partnershipoffer • Conference on new forms of tourismfromMonday Sept, 23rd. • Wewouldbeinterested in setting partnershipsafter the Comenius project.

  9. When in Lodève • Visits of Lodève, Montpellier and Sète • Possibility of a 2-day camp at the Salagou lake (interesting site for geologystudies as well as history and geography)

  10. Sports activities (hiking, swimming if it’s warm enough) • Project work on new forms of tourism and how to fightagainststereotypes • Accomodation in families for students (and teachers??) • Possibility to spend a day in Paris (extension of yourvisit)
