Pre-Implosion Preparation • Install site fence to secure the construction site • Abatement Procedures- University completed abatement activities with licensed contractors in accordance with Federal and State requirements • Permitting for the demolition activities complete through the City of Fort Worth • Place storage containers for sound attenuation • Document surrounding properties adjacent to creek • Alton Road, Colonial Parkway, and Simondale Road between Colonial Parkway and Alton Road • Call 817-933-3672 to schedule documentation of existing conditions • Place seismic and air overpressure monitors • Place dust bosses to assist in minimizing dust
Restricted Zone for 12/5 Approximately 6:30 AM- Fort Worth and TCU Police Departments secure perimeter streets
December 5- Implosion • Decision to Proceed or Delay- Joint Decision with City Authorities • Approximately 8 AM- Stadium Implosion • 5 minute notification- short blast using Frog Horn • 1 minute notification- long blast using Frog Horn • Noise- estimated to be 120 db in the neighborhood • Adjacent residents are recommended to stay indoors or watch from VIP viewing area- bring pets inside • Recommended to turn off HVAC equipment until dust clears • All-Clear- Joint Decision with City Authorities • 4 long blasts from Frog Horn
Post-Implosion • Assessment Team to walk adjacent neighborhood and assess conditions • Clean-up will begin immediately • Austin will be prepared to clean up debris and address any issues • Report Problems • Call 817-257-7810
