  2. ¿Cómo es una Iguana Verde? • La iguana verde es de sangre fría , tranquila y buena mascota , es de color verde brillante con algunas bandas transversales oscuras en la cola , tiene patas muy cortas y cinco dedos . En cada pie , acabados en garras muy afiladas , su cola es larga y delgada y está bordeada por una hilera de afiladas escamas dorsales.

  3. ¿Cómo son sus escamas? • Posee escamas gruesas que cubren su piel y proveen un caparazón contra el agua. Quizá el aspecto físico más notable sea la piel suelta que le cuelga del cuello.
