Isaac the Iguana Written and Illustrated by Daniel Rodrigues
He could run, jump and dance. He could put other Iguanas into a trance.
When the sun was gone for the day. All that Isaac could do was sneeze. Aaaaaaa……………. Choo…..
Winter was the worst time for Isaac, he was never pleased. He could barely move as he needed the sun’s heat to keep his body warm.
Larry the Llama was walking to his home when he spotted poor Isaac.“What is wrong?” Asked Larry.“I cannot move as it is too cold. I need the sun to keep me warm.” Answered Isaac.
Larry felt sorry for Isaac. He felt lucky that his wool that surrounds his body keeps him nice and warm in the cold weather.
An idea appeared in Larry’s head. “Little Iguana, would you like some of my wool, so that you can have a jumper to keep you warm?” asked Larry.
Isaac almost had tears of joy. “Yes generous Llama, thank you for your help.” Replied Isaac. Larry started making a small jumper from some of his wool.
With a jumper completed in no time, Isaac kept himself warm in the dark days and cold nights.
While Larry had a little less wool and he wasn’t as warm as before. He knew that that his wool would grow back.Larry was happy with helping someone less fortunate than him. Isaac and Larry became good friends from this moment onwards.
