Move Notification • When you know a child is moving to a different location, the Move Notification in PCC Tracking records the anticipated move. If the child does not move, then withdraw the action. • A Move Notification must be recorded prior to using the Report Move. • Placements should be accurate in PCC Tracking so that at any given date/time, a child’s location is easily known by looking in the system. Report Move – Intent Type Intent Type • Discharge from Parent Agency • Move within Parent Agency between Licensed Programs Move Details • Enter the comments about the upcoming move. • This note is displayed in PCC and TWIST. Cabinet for Health and Family Services
Move Notification Cabinet for Health and Family Services
Report Move • After the Move Notification, the Report Move is used to record the actual move. • Note: Disregard the Due Date. The date is not valid and should be ignored. Cabinet for Health and Family Services
Withdraw • You may withdraw the move notification if needed. Cabinet for Health and Family Services
Withdraw Move Notification • The Withdraw Confirmation allows you to take the move notification away. Cabinet for Health and Family Services
Move Reasons? • PCC Tracking will display the move reasons based on the move type that is selected. • The User should update the child’s move as soon as possible to allow the visit and other information to be recorded correctly. • The system will track the placement of the child based on the information entered by the PCC staff and TWIST staff. • The next several pages display the Move Types and Move Reasons that are available. Related Activities Some general information about TWIST PCC Tracking - • The child’s location should be accurate in TWIST and PCC. • The required visit should be entered timely. • The services the youth receives should be entered timely (PCC Worklist by Licensed Program). • New Foster Parents should be added as caregivers to the PCC Home and made Inactive when leaving the agency. Workbaskets PCCs should complete their Workbaskets weekly • Private Child Placing agencies complete the Assign Locations to record the Foster Parents. • Private Child Caring agencies complete the Confirm Placements to show agreement that the child is at that residential location. • All must record Move Notifications and Report Moves. • All should review the Inconsistent Locations and follow-up to clear out the inconsistencies.
