General guidelines in ch. 8 • Language and script for names (RDA 8.4): found forms • Alternative to give a romanized form: most in U.S. will do that and, for some languages, give original language/script in variant access points • Other elements: if instructions in ch. 9-11 don’t specify language, give element in English.
