  3. Decision from the PMNCH Board During its 21st meeting, the PMNCH Board asked the EC to initiate and oversee a process which will consider a potential name change for PMNCH … …with the aim of • more fully representing PMNCH’s mission and activities • reflect its current operating environment. A possible name change would also include a new logo / visual identity / tagline.

  4. Scope of PMNCH Rebranding • Name, logo, visual identity and tagline are not stand alone products; • Brand needs to reflect the PMNCH operating environment; • PMNCH envisages repositioning on the basis of brand audit in the Health/ SDG environment (partners, EWEC ecosystem, GFF); • Re-branding to reflect the PMNCH partnership-centric approach; • New brand used for all PMNCH products and touchpoints, internal and external, off and online; • Changes in branding answers ultimately three questions: Who are we? What do we do? Why does it matter?

  5. TOR EC Working Group on Rebranding Process • Oversee the rebranding process of PMNCH from the analysis phase of the present brand to the external launch of the new brand; • Review and approve TOR for the services of an external brand agency; • Review key deliverables provided by the external brand agency, in close collaboration with the PMNCH communications team: • Brand perception survey • Brand audit report • Brand brief and framework; • Liaise with the PMNCH EC/Board to obtain approval on the final brand identity, including name, visual identity and tagline; • Liaise with the EC/Board for the endorsement of long-lasting brand management in the Partnership.

  6. For the Board’s Decision • Would the Board like to include any other elements in the PMNCH rebranding scope? • Does the Board agree with the proposed process? 6
