And the list goes on and on…. But one item that can be removed as a burdensome task in you life is… SENDING TRANSCRIPTS.

Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education Is providing free to you with funding from the College Access Challenge Grant the ability to send OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS • ELECTRONICALLY! to 83 destination including: *State Colleges *Career Technology Centers *Oklahoma’s Promise *NCAA Eligibility Center

9. This Means: • No more copying. • No more mailing. • No more digging out the 1933 metal seal. • No more accusations that you did not send a transcript.

10. Quick Upload • HS can upload selected students or an entire class. By placing the most recent transcripts in an electronic folder labeled • Class of 2012, Class of 2013, etc.. • Option available to send the transcripts immediately or later. • Counselor can release the transcript. • Student can request the release of the transcript online • IF the school desires this option.

22. Statistical Update As of February 2012, Oklahoma has 334 participating high schools and 83 destinations. In the school year 2011/2012 14,997 transcripts have been sent & received electronically!

IS IT OFFICIAL? • All institutions that are participating have signed an agreement that the transcript is official!!! • Questions and concerns about what is on the transcript? • The Goal is for your electronic transcript to meet SDE requirements. • What the colleges must have on the transcript: • GPA • CLASS RANK • GRADUATION DATE (on final)

Steps to HS Participation • Step 1: Sign an Institution Agreement • Authorized school official must sign IA • FAX IA to 310-842-9898 or 405-225-9230 • Step 2: Installation appointment (~45 minutes) • Counselor and Tech Coordinator for HS • Step 3: Testing and verification (~30 minutes) • Verify that your extract is working properly • Step 4: Start Sending Transcripts! • (If you are a MAS ISIS student information user the set up time is minimal. This is built into your system and will be a very quick process.)

30. Students adding their courses on OKCOLLEGESTART.ORG • We receive the data from NCAA and update our tables once a year.  If the courses are out of date, I would suggest contacting NCAA directly to ensure that their database is correct.
