  2. Picture Definition The process of one country taking over part or all of another country. Pg. 211 Annexation Texas was an unsuccessful country. It needed to join a successful country. Texas was annexed by the United States. The Texas Revolution was not an annexation. A revolution is breaking away from another country. Example Non-example
