Another new feather has been added to the cap of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-Kharagpur) as it introduced a new device for the detection of COVID-19. The new device of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-Kharagpur) has been approved from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The new device, known as COVIRAR, helps in the detection of COVID-19 that enables to reach the common people at a low cost of interest. Many organization have approached the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-Kharagpur) for the device of the COVID-19 detection. Most of the rural places of India needs technology. the technological advancement in rural India will help them to grow. The government must invest more to develope technology in rural India.<br>

The device can easily conduct the COVID-19 tests at an affordable price and the result may come out in an hour. The results can be sent to the respective person through a customary developed mobile phone. What are the special specifications of the new device?

Even though the people in rural India have mobile phones and devices, several people lack connectivity. • The poor connectivity is one of the most prominent issues in rural India. The usage of technologies in rural India is still lacking behind and most of the people rely on old school thoughts. Approximately, 20 per cent of the teachers and 10 per cent of the students know the use of mail and can operate the laptop. • Today, rural India has lacked the facilities to encourage the students to gro further. Many rural girls face the problem of early marriages, child marriages, sexual exploitation and so forth. It is important to establish a concerned growth amongst the students in order to ensure mindful learning. How can technology be used in rural India?

The solution to connectivity issues in rural India requires some expert skills working in a specific sector. • It is important to spread some awareness in the rural background of digital India. • There must be more new courses on agriculture that should align with the traditional schools of thoughts. • The local education authority must regularly check on the digital spheres of local areas. The strong emphasis must be given to local languages for poor people. The poor and local people cannot be expected to learn English language. • Since most of digital spaces use the English language, it is important for the students and people to understand spoken English along with the spoken Hindi context. • There must be more awareness on the scholarship of the students. The students living in the underprivileged sections cannot afford monetary funds for higher education. What are problems that are needed to be addressed in rural India?

  6. Around 60 per cent of students in the rural India lack basic skills to read and write. Some of the students drop out early due to several problems and family issues. Some of the family members do not encourage rural kids to grow further. Alongside, the digital growth of the students have been lacking due to the lack of technological aspects. As per the research, more than 20 per cent of the students are not interested to pursue studies due to the lack of interactive learning in school and education curriculum. The problem persists not only in rural India but is widely prevalent in urban sector. How does Rural India lack growth?

  7. Most of the students in rural India are demotivated as they do not see the scopes in learning methods and career prospects. More digitalization requires more money by the people and the people in rural India lack monetary growth. How to improve the digitalization in rural India?

Separate session for rural India to continue multimedia and teaching tools for the students in rural environment. • Use of new tools in local language such as LCD screens, video tutorials and smart boards in the remote zones of India. • The interactive media sessions must take place to address the shortage of teachers in rural India. The important role in digital growth are:

  9. Most of the NGOs, and private organization can play a prospective role in interactive sessions in rural India. It is important for the rural teachers to grow in the new prospective arena. • The state government must ensure that every child is getting equal education in spite of their family statutes. The laptops and tabs must be provided to the students of the remote zones in order to help them accustomed to the growth of the technological sector.
